Bimmer Haus Performance principals Bob Tunnell and Jim Leithauser, longtime BMW owners and racers, have been intimately involved in the automotive industry in one capacity or another for more than 20 years. Both Bob and Jim are constantly sought out for their expertise in BMW maintenance and preparation.

Recent ownership and priority changes at another shop in the area left a void in BMW specialty work and we saw the opportunity to provide a much-needed service for BMW owners in the area.

When Dave Stackhouse, and Chuck Chittum -- both veteran automotive service personnel -- expressed their desire to focus exclusively on BMW service, repair, and maintenance, the objective became crystal clear and the Bimmer Haus Performance Group was formed.

Our focus will be exclusively on BMW motor vehicles.

Our primary business objective is to provide expert service, maintenance, and repair of BMW automobiles. The vast majority of our shop space is dedicated to "ordinary" service and repair work such as oil changes, clutch jobs, brake service, and wheel alignments.

Mundane work? I guess you could call it that. Especially compared to the race car prep we do -- and could try to build our business on.

But service and maintenance is a vital part of keeping you and your car on the road.

Because it is an area of considerable expertise, we will also provide sales, installation, and service of high performance parts and accessories of our own design as well as products from outstanding specialty BMW tuners TC Kline Racing, Jim Conforti, UUC Motorwerks, and others. We also carry products from Koni, Moton, H&R Special Springs, Hawk Brake, Alcon, and Recaro ­ brands we use successfully on the race track and the street.

I know I've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating -- Bimmer Haus principals are veteran racers and compete in amateur and professional events on a regular basis. We will only sell and service products we race with in our own race cars. We push them to the limit week in and week out. We know what works, and what doesn't.
